Bachata Music Videos

These Bachata music videos give a taste of the other major genre of Dominican Republic music. It is easy to imagine the atmosphere with this music in the background in many late night venues in Santo Domingo!

Some call Bachata 'coarse' or maybe 'overly sexy' and it may often have been heard emanating from some ofthe 'sleazier' bars around the Dominican Republic. But it has assuredly made its way into today's popular music mainstream. There is no denying that today's young bachata artists create music that perfectly reflects the sensual 'heat' of the Dominican Republic, and the videos, too, are designed to get you in a sweat!
